Revue is a live TV player for Apple TV, made by Vast Logic. It has no accounts and no ads. What you watch never passes through our servers.

Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics. You can turn them off.

Playlists and streams

Playlists, stream addresses and the address of your own stream server are stored on your Apple TV. When you play something, your Apple TV connects directly to that address. That server sees your IP address, as with any network request, and its own policy applies.

Program guide

Revue downloads XMLTV program guides from the addresses in Settings › Program Guide (EPG). Default addresses are filled in, and you can replace or remove them. Guide requests carry no information about you beyond your IP address.

Local network

Revue uses your local network to find your stream server (Bonjour) and to run the cast receiver. Casting happens between devices on your own network and does not pass through us.

iCloud sync

Sources, playlists, favorites and preferences sync between your Apple TVs through your private iCloud database and iCloud key-value storage. We cannot read this data. Turn sync off or delete the synced data in Settings › iCloud Sync.

Diagnostics

When Send Diagnostics is on, Revue sends crash reports and anonymous usage statistics so we can find and fix problems. They do not include stream addresses, playlists or what you watch. Third-party service providers process this data for us and protect it as this policy does. It is deleted automatically after a limited period.

Turn it off in Settings › Diagnostics. Revue then stops sending it. To have it deleted sooner, email support@vastlogic.dev.

Children

Revue is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
