TiviMate on Apple TV? What to Use Instead
TiviMate is not available for Apple TV. Its developer, Armobsoft FZE, makes it for Android TV devices and distributes it through Google Play and its own website. There is no version for tvOS, iPhone, iPad or Mac, and we found no announcement of one on tivimate.com or Google Play. Apps with similar names in the App Store come from other developers.
To watch the same channels on Apple TV, use an Apple TV IPTV player with the playlist and program guide you already use in TiviMate. Which player fits depends on how you add your channels:
- With an M3U playlist address: Revue plays it, together with your XMLTV program guide.
- With an Xtream Codes login, or if you need catch-up and recording: use an all-in-one player such as UHF. Revue doesn’t support Xtream Codes.
- With a Stalker portal: neither Revue nor UHF lists Stalker support. To keep using it, keep an Android TV device for TiviMate.
We make Revue. The facts about TiviMate on this page come from tivimate.com, its Google Play listing and App Store searches, checked on October 12, 2026.

If you use an M3U playlist: Revue
Revue is an IPTV player made only for Apple TV. It comes with no channels: it plays the M3U playlists you add, with your XMLTV program guide. It suits you if:
- Your channels come from an M3U playlist address.
- You watch carrier IPTV: multicast relayed by udpxy or rtp2httpd, RTSP, interlaced 1080i, or MP2, AC-3 and E-AC-3 audio. Revue has its own MPEG-TS engine for these streams.
- You want 4K HLG channels to switch your TV’s mode automatically. Revue detects HLG on each channel and works with Match Content in tvOS.
- You want to pay once. After the 7-day trial, Revue Pro is a one-time purchase: US$9.99 in the US, with local pricing in other App Store regions. There is no subscription and no account.
Coming from TiviMate, you will miss some things. Revue has no grid guide (it shows what is on now and next), no catch-up, no recording, no multiview, no search, no parental controls, and no movies or series. It doesn’t support Xtream Codes or Stalker logins.
If you use Xtream Codes or need catch-up: an all-in-one player
If you sign in with Xtream Codes, or you rely on catch-up, recording or multiview, choose an all-in-one player. UHF is one example. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, supports M3U and Xtream Codes, and offers catch-up, multiview with up to 4 streams, and movies and series. Recording works through UHF Server, a free companion app for a computer or NAS. UHF is free to use, with an optional Pro upgrade. See UHF vs Revue for details.
If you can’t do without TiviMate
Some TiviMate features, such as Stalker portals, have no listed equivalent in the Apple TV players above. If you depend on them, keep TiviMate on an Android TV device and connect it to another HDMI input on your TV. TiviMate can’t be installed on Apple TV, because Apple TV can’t run Android apps.
Moving your channels from TiviMate to Revue
- Find the M3U playlist address you added to TiviMate. If you no longer have it, get it again from where you got the playlist. Revue can’t import a TiviMate backup file.
- In Revue, go to Settings › M3U Playlists (IPTV) › Add M3U Playlist and enter the address.
- Enter your XMLTV address in Settings › Program Guide (EPG) › Source Address. Revue doesn’t read a guide address written inside the playlist, so enter it here.
- Add your favorite channels again. Favorites don’t move between apps.
The full steps are in Add your M3U playlist and EPG. If a channel won’t play, see IPTV not working on Apple TV.
